SmartLinx Launches Touchless Time Clocks that Deliver Safe and Secure Access to Skilled Nursing and Senior Living Facilities
New version of SmartLinx intelligent time clocks helps protect residents and employees from infection

This state-of-the-art time and attendance management system is purpose-built for long-term care, post-acute care, continuing care retirement communities, and assisted living operators.
With the number of COVID-19 cases rising in many states, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities are pursuing additional measures to safeguard the health of residents and staff. Rather than manually punching in access codes or scanning their fingerprints before entering or leaving the facility, employees simply hold up a QR code on their mobile device. The Touchless Time Clock reads the QR code off the SmartLinx Go mobile app.
Generated on the SmartLinx Go mobile app, the QR code automatically transmits employee identity and punch type to the integrated SmartLinx workforce management system. SmartLinx Go works on iPhones and Android phones and is available in the Apple Store.
With the SmartLinx Touchless Time Clock, employees can also punch in and out of work six times faster than traditional electronic time clocks, thereby reducing long lines of employees waiting to clock in and out when the shifts change. Since the Touchless Time Clock connects directly with SmartLinx employee scheduling and attendance management software, it provides a faster and more secure way of tracking who is where, who punched in early, and who is late while streamlining employee operations processes.
